New to dancing? You’re in exactly the right place.

Whether you’ve never danced before or haven’t moved to music in years, this is for you. Our Enderby Social is a warm, low-pressure Sunday gathering where beginners are not just welcome; you’re the reason we host it.

This month, we’re raising funds for BPD UK, a peer-led charity supporting the unsung heroes of mental health: the families and carers of people living with Borderline Personality Disorder.

Here’s what your afternoon looks like:

🕺 2:00–3:00 pm – Absolute Beginner’s Tango Lesson
Led by the kind and patient Steve Donkin, this relaxed class is perfect if you’ve never done tango — or any dance — before. No jargon, no pressure, no partner needed.

💃 3:00–4:00 pm – Guided Practica (Practice Hour)
You’ll get friendly tips, encouragement, and music to keep going at your own pace. We stay informal and supportive. There’s no “getting it wrong.”

🎶 4:00–5:00 pm – ‘Anything Goes’ Dance Hour
Unwind with a joyful, eclectic playlist: salsa, bachata, merengue, swing, jive, maybe even a bit of jazz or kizomba. Whether you join in or just tap your toes with a cuppa, you’re part of the vibe.

🫖 Free tea, coffee, and biscuits all afternoon. The crowd is mostly older adults, friendly faces, and first-timers. Come solo, come curious, and leave smiling.

Why it matters

Your £5 helps BPD UK support families going through some of life’s hardest moments. Carers dance free, always.

This isn’t a dance competition. It’s a community. A place to move, meet kind people, and feel better than when you arrived.

No booking. No partner. No pressure. Just turn up.
We can’t wait to welcome you.
