Dance for Charity: Classical Tango Afternoon in Enderby
Tango with heart, rhythm, and purpose. Join us for a warm and welcoming afternoon of classical Argentine tango—designed for dancers of all levels and dedicated to a cause that truly matters.
🗓 Date: Sunday 12th October 2025
📍 Venue: St John’s Community Hall, Packhorse Drive, Enderby, LE19 2RP
⏰ Time:
-
16:00 – Guided Tango Lesson (no partner or experience required)
-
17:00–20:00 – Social Dance (Milonga)
This is more than a dance event—it’s a space to connect, move, and give back. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned dancer, you’ll be guided through the elegance and emotion of classical tango by experienced instructors in a non-judgmental, relaxed atmosphere.
After the lesson, stay for a three-hour social milonga featuring beautiful traditional music and a chance to meet fellow dancers and community members. Hot drinks, biscuits, and snacks will be available throughout.
Entry is £10, and all proceeds go directly to BPD UK, a peer-led mental health charity supporting families, carers, and loved ones of individuals living with Borderline Personality Disorder. Your dance can help fund critical peer support services, helplines, and advocacy for an often-overlooked group. Carers dance for FREE. Come over and enjoy the therapeutic magic of dancing.
Come as you are. Dance if you can. And know that every step makes a difference.
Let’s move together—for connection, for wellbeing, and for change.
